Registration through NSER survey:
The National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER) is a comprehensive survey that collects data of eligible families by going door to door. Based on this survey, BISP automatically selects eligible families.

If someone is sure that he is eligible but has not received the assistance yet, he can visit the nearest BISP office and update his data or get registered.

Eligibility criteria

- The monthly income of the family should be low (usually less than Rs. 30,000).
- There should be no government employee in the family.
- The family members should have limited ownership of land or property.
- No bank account, vehicle or foreign travel history (except in special circumstances).
- Widowed, disabled, or single women are given preference.
A “PMT Score” is determined through the NSER survey, which indicates the economic status of the family. Families whose score is below a certain threshold are eligible for BISP.

Payment Method
Under BISP, a fixed amount is paid to eligible families every three months. By 2025, this amount has increased to approximately Rs. 10,500 per installment (the amount is increased from time to time).

BISP Kafalat Card or ATM Card:
Eligible women are provided with a special card through which they can withdraw money from designated ATM machines.
In the form of cash from representative centers:
