CM Punjab Honhaar Scholarship Phase II
The Punjab government has opened a new chapter in the education sector with the grand launch of the CM Punjab Laptop Program” and the CM Punjab Honhaar Scholarship Program Phase II. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, both these projects have been designed to provide modern education, digital facilities, and financial assistance to students. These initiatives aim to provide continuity of higher education to talented students facing financial problems.
Second Major Event in Faisalabad
The second major event of this program in Faisalabad was held at Government College University Faisalabad, where Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif herself participated. In this event, 5928 students of the Faisalabad division were given the latest laptops, including Core i7, 13th generation, and original Windows. With the help of this technology, students will be helped in online education, research, and acquiring digital skills.

Institutions Receiving Laptops:
- 4224 students of government universities
- 318 students of medical colleges
- 1385 students of government colleges
Honhaar Scholarship Phase II – Support for needy students
Scholarship checks were also distributed to 4075 students under the Honahar Scholarship Program Phase II at the ceremony. Under this program, scholarships worth about In Faisalabad division alone, students have benefited from 10 million rupees in educational support. The distribution of scholarships was as follows:

Rs. 67 lakh to university students
- 82 students from medical colleges have received Rs. 4 lakh in total.
- Rs. 29 lakh has been awarded to 1,531 students in the college sector
These scholarships are being given to students in the third to eighth semesters so that they can continue their education. In addition, the amount of Honhar Scholarship has been increased from Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 50,000, which is a big facility.

Number of Applications and Transparency
The transparency of the Honhar Scholarship Program can be gauged from the fact that 153,572 applications have been received so far, out of which 130,006 have been verified. This shows that the program is not only popular but also organized.
Students from other Provinces also benefit
On the special instructions of the Chief Minister of Punjab, this program is not limited to Punjab, but students from Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have also been included in it. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced that, over the next eight years, scholarships worth 90 billion rupees will be distributed under the Honhar Scholarship Program to support and empower deserving students. First Ceremony: UET Lahore
The program’s inaugural ceremony took place at UET Lahore, where 13,886 students received laptops and 3,121 students were awarded merit scholarships. This successful launch strengthened the foundation of the program.
