Major Initiatives for Youth Employment
In the first meeting of the Punjab Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Department, chaired by Maryam Nawaz, several key decisions were made to enhance youth employment and training opportunities:
- Karobar Cards & Finance Loans: Skilled youth will be given Karobar cards and financial loans to start their own businesses.
- Overseas Employment Program: A comprehensive plan is being developed to send skilled manpower abroad.
- ‘Skills on Wheels’ Project: A new initiative in private partnership to train youth in remote areas.
Special Training for Transgender Community
