Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for Phase 2 of the programme, the following criteria apply:
- The bride must be between 18 and 40 years of age, unmarried and willing to participate in a collective marriage event.
- The applicant can be the bride herself, or her father, mother or legal guardian, submitting on her behalf.
- The bride must hold domicile of Punjab and be a resident of the province.
- The girl may be from the category of orphans, daughters of PWDs, or people with disabilities. This is a targeted assistance measure.
- An affidavit is required indicating that the bride is unmarried and willing to attend the collective wedding ceremony.
In case of limited slots and more applicants than available quota, selection will be done via electronic balloting (draw) to ensure fairness.

Application & Selection Process
Here is a step-by-step overview of how interested applicants may apply in Phase 2:
- Visit the official portal of the programme (for example the CMP portal of the Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Mal Department of Punjab).
- Register by filling in personal details like Name, CNIC, District, Tehsil, contact number and mobile SIM (registered in applicant’s name).
- Upload or attach the required affidavit and documents showing eligibility (domicile, CNIC, proof of being unmarried, any relevant PWD/orphan status).
- After submission the Tehsil Verification Committee (TVC) will visit/verify the applicant’s details; then approved applications are forwarded to Programme Steering Committee (PSC).
